Richard Coulson of Highly Geared

Natasha Whewell on the train to Kent

On Sunday 18th May Natasha, Carl, Richard of team Highly Geared, together with pacesetter and fellow Political Risk extraordinaire James Pryar, tackled the mercilessly undulating countryside of Kent for the 2014 Kent Castle Sportive in aid of Action Medical Research.

It was an early start, but by no means an early finish!  The scene was set, bikes serviced and the last of the bravado brandished!  Natasha, Richard and James took on the 75 mile Classic Route gallantly finishing the course with James at the business end of the trio, Natasha following and Richard bringing up the rear.   Carl, still insisting he is capable of completing every mile of the JOGLON ride, attacked the 103 mile Champions Route, completing the course and a bit more as a result of a missed turning, a slip road and a motorway.
