The Grand Depart trophy at Hague School

The Hague School, one of the RKH Foundation’s two causes, is putting the money it receives towards the renovation of a school keeper’s house so that the children can use it as a space for creative arts and scientific investigations.

Appropriately given RKH Foundation’s big fundraising initiative, the Hague School loves cycling! The arches under the school keeper’s house may incorporate some cycling storage and the school hopes to set up a cycling club if it receives funding.

Hague was also asked to host the Tower Hamlets launch of the Tour de France, which comes through London on 7th July. The school was temporarily home to the Tour de France Grand Depart trophy, and was visited by the mayor and lots of other school children from Tower Hamlets.
